Itinerary of Golden Triangle Tour 6 days

Day 1: Delhi Sightseeing

Your 6-day, 5-night Golden Triangle tour begins in New Delhi, where your driver will pick you up from the airport, railway station, or any preferred location. You’ll be taken to a comfortable hotel with convenient access to major attractions. Begin exploring Delhi with visits to iconic sites like Humayun’s Tomb, Lodhi Gardens, Qutub Minar, and the Red Fort. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a restaurant of your choice, then continue your tour with a drive past India Gate. Conclude the day with a Light and Sound show at the Red Fort, offering a captivating journey through history. Overnight stay is arranged in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi to Agra (204 km)

The next morning, you’ll set off for Agra in a prepaid taxi. Agra, known for the famous Taj Mahal, is approximately a three-hour drive along the Yamuna Expressway. Upon arrival, a representative will provide you with an entry ticket to the Taj Mahal, and a government-approved tour guide is available for a detailed tour of this architectural marvel. After exploring the Taj, you’ll spend the night in a comfortable Agra hotel.

Day 3: Agra Sightseeing

Start your day with a visit to the Agra Fort, a stunning red sandstone structure also known as the Red Fort of Agra. This fort was the residence of the Mughals until the capital moved to Delhi, showcasing beautiful Islamic and Rajput architecture. Next, visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the “Baby Taj.” End the day with a visit to Mehtab Bagh, where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset view of the Taj Mahal. Overnight stay will be in Agra.

Day 4: Agra to Jaipur (240 km)

In the morning, you’ll depart for Jaipur in a prepaid taxi, a journey that takes around four hours. Along the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri to see the magnificent Buland Darwaza, built by Emperor Akbar to celebrate his victory over Gujarat, and the Tomb of Sufi saint Salim Chishti. Once in Jaipur, check into a comfortable hotel, and after a short rest, explore the City Palace. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

Begin your day with a tour of Jaipur, the “Pink City.” Visit the majestic Amber Fort, from which you can see panoramic views of Jaipur. Explore other famous sites like Hawa Mahal (“Palace of Winds”), Jantar Mantar, Jaigarh Fort, and Birla Mandir. Take some time to shop in Jaipur’s vibrant markets, known for gemstones, textiles, and more. Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur to New Delhi (320 km)

In the morning, your driver will take you back to Delhi, a five-hour journey. Once there, make a stop at the beautiful Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, a sprawling cultural complex that showcases Indian culture and spirituality. Afterward, you’ll head to the airport for your onward journey.
